Shunling Gao is vice-president of the Painting and Calligraphy Associations in Jiangsu colleges and universities. He is also the chairman of the Chinese Painting Institution. Winning prizes in many national and provincial painting and calligraphy exhibitions, Shunling joined both the Jiangsu Artists Association and Jiangsu Literature and Art Critics Association. A compilation of his works entitled “The Calligraphy and Painting Collection of Shunling Gao” is published in numerous professional journals and newspapers such as Art Education Research and Artists of China.
